Judith Lee Pixley, born in San Diego, California on June 8 th , 1938, passed away peacefully on March 31 st , 2023.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Louis Serpa, and the love of her life, Phillip J. Pixley.

She is survived by two sisters Geraldine Close and Lydia Balderree, as well as nine children, James (Marta) Hannon,
Jeanne (Dan) Swanner, Gerald (Lisa) Hannon, Julie (Philip) Castle-Smith, Catherine (Asif) Syed, Christopher (Lynne) Pixley, Sherril (William) Light, Lauri (Chris Harborth) Pixley, and Meral (Baxter) Gillespie, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Judy was a funny, kind, considerate and loving person. She smiled a lot and always tried to put a smile on everyone else's face too! Judy loved animals, especially her little Shih Tzu, Maggie, who was her constant joy and companion for 14 years.

There will be no service as per her wishes. A private Celebration of Life will take place the summer of 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Village Care Homes Assisted Living (www.VillageCareHomes.Com). Checks can be mailed to:
