Julia Ann McGrew, 83, of Meadows Place, Texas, passed away peacefully after a long struggle with dementia, on the 16th of March, 2023 of natural causes.

Judy was born on 6-18-1939 to Nola Iva Massey in Kennett Missouri. She graduated  from Okmulgee High School on May 23rd, 1957. While attending Okmulgee High School she met and dated her future spouse, Ernest Van McGrew. They continued dating throughout high school, and were eventually wed in November of 1958, going on to have their only child Michael Van McGrew.

After retiring in 2005 Ernest and Judy traveled while doing family ancestry research on her side of the family. Family ancestry research and shopping were her hobbies and she was a fantastic cook.

Judy was predeceased by her Mother, Nola Iva Massey, Father, Clyde Henry Massey, and, her Sister, Betsy Cummings. Judy is survived by her Son, Michael (Donna), two Nieces, Karen Cummings, Tammy McKee (Larry), Nephew, Ed Cummings (Linda), and many Grand-Nieces and Grand-Nephews.

She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.

There will be no funeral services at this time.
