Onesimo Julian Calles died February 6, 2021 at the age of 90 years young or as he would say" I turned 90, but I feel like I'm in my 60's... jajajaja!" He was born January 9, 1931 in Altamira, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He came from humble beginnings and was able to experience several different types of jobs throughout his life. From working in the post office, to his LONG TIME career as a car painter or as we liked calling it pintador de carros or The Michelangelo of HIS car painting world. He had many hobbies through this life. In the early year he was a competitive bodybuilder and ever on third place in abdominal's in all of Mexico one year. He enjoyed the Astros, westerns, baking and designing cakes, painting murals, and even collecting classic toy cars. He is preceded in death by Encarnacion Calles, Ricardo Calles, Rafael Calles, Guadalupe Calles, Julian Calles, Socorro Calles, Ignacio Calles, and Olinda Calles. He is survived by his wife Maria M. Calles, amazing sons Julian Calles, David Calles and wife Cassie Calles, Chris Calles and wife Laura Calles and his grandchildren Jessica Taxiarchou, Dominique Calles, Colt McDonald, Cloe McDonald, Clarissa Velazquez, and Lillian Calles, 3 great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews. He loved being a father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. He also enjoyed giving his son Julian a hard time when he could( being the jokester that he was). The viewing will be at Graceful Memorial Chapel 3160 Brownie Campbell Rd. Houston TX. 77038. On March 12th from 10am to 1pm. The burial will be at Earthmans Resthaven cemetery at 2pm .
