Kathleen Booth Yale, 80, of Hondo, TX went to be with Jesus on July 3, 2023 in Cypress, TX after bravely battling cancer. She was a brave, strong wife, mother, and grandmother -Meme, the matriarch of the family, and was always there when we needed her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Helen Booth and sister, Helen (Dede) Belanger.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Edward Yale, daughter Sandra Heintz, son-in-law Daniel, son Thomas B. Yale, daughter-in-law, Ellen, and her sister Patricia Miller (Mesa, AZ). Her entire world revolved around being a devoted Meme to Jessica (Jordan) Cowart, Courtney Heintz, Logan (Karlie)Heintz, Lindsay Yale, Meaghan Yale and her great-grandson Grayson Cowart. There are numerous nieces and nephews who have been impacted by her ability to love others.
Kathy was a New Englander at heart but learned to love Texas. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, family, and friends. She never wanted to miss a family event and always put them ahead of herself. She loved her Elvis music and spent years using her voice in the church choir. She will be missed but thank God for the hope of heaven and precious memories!
There will be a celebration of life held on July 7, 2023, 10:00 am, at Hondo Methodist Church, 1006 16th St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
