Obituary

Keenan Lucian Reiney, Jr. died peacefully on October ll, 2020. He was born in Houston, Texas in 1931. He graduated from Lamar High School, Rice University and the University of Texas Graduate School. Keenan served in the United States Army as an instructor in the Chemical Corps. After he was honorably discharged, he was employed by Arthur Young & Company, Barber Milk, Food Corporation International, and was Chief Financial Officer of Goldking Production Company.

Keenan loved to travel - especially to the mountains where he enjoyed off roading and hiking. He was a great conversationalist and had keen insight into any topic from opera to football. He was the kindest man you could hope to meet and will be sorely missed.

A devoted family man, his family was the greatest joy of his life. He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Kay Perkins Reiney; his children Kathy Portis and her husband Kirk, Keenan Reiney, and Kevin Reiney and his wife Micki; and granddaughters Kristen Jackson and her husband Andrew, Kelly Portis, Kearstin Reiney, Kayley Reiney, Kaitlynn Reiney and Kara Reiney.
