IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kit Robin
Mulvehill, Sr
November 18, 1953 – July 31, 2020
Former native-born Texas Resident Kit Robin Mulvehill, Sr. (known to his friends as Rob) died on Friday, July 31st
2020 in the hospital near his home in Porter, Texas. He was sixty-six (66) years old.
To celebrate his life, Rob's five (5) children are holding a 10:00am grave-side memorial service at Brookside
Memorial Park on Friday August 7th, 2020, where Rob will be buried next to his mother and father.
Rob was born November 18, 1953 to Albert Henry and Odessa Worthy Mulvehill. He was the youngest of his
parent's six (6) children, having four (4) older brothers and one (1) older sister which included: Bobby Joe (Bob)
Mulvehill (deceased), Barbara Joyce Jenkins, Bruce Jerry Mulvehill, Ken Carl Mulvehill (deceased), and Billy Dean
(Bill) Mulvehill.
During parts of his life Rob traveled extensively, visiting the Holy Land (including Israel, Nazareth, Galilee,
Jerusalem, and the Dead Sea), the Grand Canyon, Pike's Peak, Boston Harbor, and Cozumel, Mexico. Among all
the places Rob visited, he would say that the Holy Land trip was his favorite of all. Just a few weeks before his
death he even mentioned to his oldest son that he "would really like to take that Holy Land trip again one day".
Everyone who knew Rob personally would say the main reason he loved the Holy Land trip so much was
because of his great Christian faith and relationship with God. In fact, for a portion of his life Rob was an
Ordained Baptist Minister and Pastor, although he personally preferred the term "Preacher". And what a
preacher he was!
Although later in life he also worked as a general contractor and built some custom homes and even a large
church, Rob's favorite thing to do was witness to others and share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Rob didn't believe in the idea of the perfect Christian, and he never represented himself as such, preferring
instead to minister to, empathize with, and try to help others that were in pain and need the best he could by
sharing the good news of Jesus Christ, his risen Lord and Savior. In fact, if Rob had a single, central, fundamental
belief that defined his whole life… it was that Jesus Christ died on the cross for the sins of all mankind, and now
that as the risen savior, Jesus Christ is Lord.
Because of Rob's ongoing faith and Christian activities throughout his lifetime, many other people also found
Jesus and accepted Christ as their personal savior, including his children.
This always made Rob very, very happy because above all else, he deeply loved every one of his children, and
every one of his children deeply loved him.
Throughout his life Rob Mulvehill Sr. was a loving father whose life had difficulties. He was a pastor, a preacher,
a contractor, and a Christian. But to all of his children… to every one of us… he was DAD. Our DAD.
TO ROB, Our DAD: Your children Robie Jr, Shannon, Michelle, Ben, and Kristy will always love you and
never forget you!
Your family, your children, and your friends will always love you… and never forget you Dad!
Rob Mulvehill Sr. is survived by his five (5) children and their spouses: His son Robin Kit James (48) &
daughter-in-law Christy Ann James (40), his daughter Shannon Kae Hall (45) and son-in-law Christopher
James Hall (44), his daughter Michelle Lynn Impelmance (37) and son-in-law Kenneth Dale Impelmance (38),
his son Benjamin Jay Mulvehill (36), and his daughter Kristy Ann Mulvehill (34).
Rob is also survived by his seven (7) grandchildren: Olivia Ann Herman (13), Branden Christopher Hall (13),
Kimber Kae Hall (11), Macey Marie Mulvehill (9), Alexa Chanel Impelmance (8), Ryder Trae Impelmance (8),
and Paisley Reyann Schranck (2mo).
