Obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of our loved one, Leroy L. Story, age 70 of Waller, TX. Leroy was born June 8, 1952, and passed November 18, 2022, @ 1:31 am. Leroy was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, and passed in Cypress, TX. He was predeceased by his father Henry Lee Story and his mother Iola Stevens Story. Leroy was the seventh of 8 children in this union. At a young age, he gave his life to Christ and was baptized in the Baptist church.
He attended Grand Valley High School in Ashtabula, Ohio; after which he joined the Job Corp of America, graduating with a Certificate in Construction and Painting in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He worked for American Motors for many years. He had a passion for music and joined a band called the Concepts, which opened for some of the top show bands in the country. He loved to travel and had visited 48 states in the US.
Leroy married Natacha Worley in Las Vegas, NV which lasted nineteen years. He leaves behind 4 daughters from previous relationships: Monique in Charlotte, North Carolina, Michelle in Evansville, Indiana, and Asia and Milah in Indianapolis, Indiana. He had 6 grandchildren, Nicodemus, Nakia, Jaylen, Kylie, Kyrie, and M'Lynn. Sisters Gloria Broyles and Dorothy Story, and a brother, Harry Story all live in Ohio. A host of nieces and nephews and friends. Leroy enjoyed camping, fishing, and going to concerts and jazz festivals.
You will be truly missed. Memorial services will be announced at later date.
