Lewis Ray Stroud of Pasadena Texas passed away on October 31, 2022 at the age of 67.

Lewis was born on 10/21/1955 in Galveston, Texas to Radie and Georgia Stroud. His family grew up in Pasadena and after graduation he joined the Army. Lewis was an outdoorsman to a tee and his favorite thing to do was fish. He also loved his daughters and his niece Tracy more than anything in the world. While his early life may have been hard he always knew that Jesus had a plan for him. He had worked very hard to make his family proud and become the best version of himself he could be. Lewis made sure to document his life through journals and letters left behind for his loved ones. It was one of his favorite things to do. He would have given the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. His big heart and sense of humor always filled the room and made people feel special. There was always a joke to be told when Lewis was around.

Lewis is preceded in death by his father, Radie Wayne Stroud, his mother, Georgia Lenora Stroud and his sisters, Holly Elizabeth Etheridge and Vicki Lynn Bates. He is survived by his daughters, Tamara Jayne Stuck, (Robert), Georgia Beth Duncan (Silver), and Amber Nicole Stroud. His Grandchildren Shelby, Lauryn, Tucker Rand, Tristen Duncan, Ayden Justin Lee. He is also survived by his brother George Wayne Stroud, sister Lenora Jean Talent and by many nieces and nephews.

A committal service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Houston National Cemetery at 10411 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas, 77038, Lane 1. at 11:30 am. (If you are planning on attending please arrive on time)
