Lidieth Monge

February 20, 1936 – May 9, 2024

Our Lord called our beloved Lidieth to His presence on Thursday, May 9th. Lidieth was born in San Jose, Costa Rica to Juan Jose Monge and Justina Diaz. She had an extraordinary gift to touch the lives of those that came into her life. Her loving, kind, and warm ways made everyone around her feel welcomed and loved.

Lidieth spent the first half of her life in Costa Rica, relocating to California in 1981, and for the last 20 years she called The Woodlands, TX home. It was in Texas that she was baptized as Christian and was an active member of her local Church. She loved living in fellowship with her Christian brothers and sisters.

She was a loving, caring wife to Alfonso for sixty years. Her children are reminded today and always of the loving sacrifices she made for them.

Lidieth is survived by her husband Alfonso Fernandez, and her children Randall, Marga, Bernal, and Ignacio.

A "Celebration of Life" service will be held on Friday, May 17th at 1:00 p.m. Central time in the Robb Chapel of The Woodlands Methodist Church, 2200 Lake Woodlands Dr., Spring, TX 77380.
