Linda Ledet Lowery, age 76, left this Earth peacefully holding the hands of her family on Monday, August 23, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, George R. Lowery, her sister Loretta Ledet Sievers, and her parents, Sidney and Zoie Ledet.

Linda is the mother of Kellie Lowery Byers (Steve) and her "Sunshine", her granddaughter, Sydney Byers. Aunt of Matthew Sievers, Mark Sievers (Jenny), Julie Gauthreaux (Murphy), Benita Falk (Dale), Charlie Cook (Beverly). Sister-in-Law of James Sievers.

She was born in Marrero, Louisiana, and although she resided in Spring, TX for many years, she remained a Cajun at heart.  She spent many joyful years working with students as a paraprofessional at Birnham Woods Elementary and Ann K. Snyder Elementary.  She loved those students, her friends, and her family with her whole heart.  She'll be remembered for her smile and her infectious laughter. The family would like to thank Millenium Oncology for their exceptional treatment and care for the past 4 years.  Special thanks to Vitas Inpatient Hospice for their compassionate care and love during her transition to Heaven, along with all the support and love from friends and family.  Our family is planning a Celebration event scheduled to occur later in September.
