Obituary
Louise Garrett 89, passed away Sept 10,2021. She was born in Sesser, Illinois but
grew up and raised a family in Houston Texas. She retired in East Texas where she
enjoyed the country life. She loved working in her yard and took great pride in how
it always looked so nice. She also enjoyed maintaining her garden and having her
own homegrown vegetables .
She is preceded by her parents Thelma Church and Cecil Ray and her two sons
Daniel Ray Mclemore and Michael Lee Mclemore.
She leaves behind her daughter Pat Peloquin and her husband James Cowart, who
cared tirelessly for her during the last 15 years of her life. She is also survived
by a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be a small private memorial for her in the East Texas Piney Woods and
Sam Rayburn Lake area that she loved so much. Also we will respectfully be spreading
the ashes of her mother, Thelma Church who lived with her and also loved it there.
She was a wonderful person, they were a great comfort to one another. This was home.
