Buono
November 25, 1936 – August 30, 2025
Margret Marie Del Buono, 88, of Spring, TX, formerly of Poughkeepsie, N. Y. Born November 25 th , 1936,
to Elwood and Hazel Owen. Maggie made a life defined by laughter, kindness, generosity, love, and an
unforgettable joy of her "larger than life" personality.
On June 24 th , 1981, she married the love of her life James F DelBuono, who she celebrated 44 years of
marriage. They forged a beautiful bond and love story everyone of us strived to have ourselves. We all
looked up to their love, They were so deeply in love, "they couldn't walk past each other without sharing
a kiss", they shared with their family and friends.
Maggie worked for Bank of America till her retirement so she could help care for her grandchikdren.
After retirement she took on managing the apartment complex where she and James (Del) lived. She
also found time to volunteer at Washington Township Hospital in Fremont, CA where they resided until
their final home in Spring, TX.
She was loved by all her coworkers, friends and stranger, "because she never met someone she didn't
call a friend", with her cheery disposition, and helping hand to everyone and leaving a positive mark
wherever she went.
Maggie's world revolved around her family and friends, with whom she loved to play cards and other
games. She also loved to quilt and make other useful items to share with all. She was most proud of her
4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
She is Survived by her husband James, her children Doreen and James, grandchildren Chrystal Erickson,
Kevin O Calkins, Ronnie Daeleen Klamowsky, Jamilynn DelBuono, Blayze Leddett, Brynn DelBuono, Riley
DelBuono and, Kimberly Duclos, great grandchildren Ashley Erickson, Nicholas Erickson, Isaac Calkins,
Ian Klamowsky, Natalie Erickson and Seth Erickson.
She is proceeded in death by her sisters Reba and Shirley and her 2 children Angelique Delbuono and
Ronald Duclos Jr.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
