The Lord took our dear Marie to heaven on Friday, May 4, 2024. She passed peacefully at home in God's love surrounded by her loving husband.

Marie Sartain Becker was born on August 29, 1935 in Talco Texas. Her parents were Earl and Josie Sartain and they had a family of ten children.

She met her future husband Sam Becker while working at Coca-Cola In the early 1980's. She married Sam, the love of her life, in a private ceremony. Sam was a devoted and loving husband and her best friend for 42 years.

She left behind her husband Sam, Brother Terry and his wife Karen, Sister Shirley and her granddaughter Shawntae and her husband Shane. She has great grandchildren Haleigh, Eric and E.J. She also leaves behind two great-great grandchildren Tayson and Avery and a host of nieces and nephews. She loved all of them very much!

We wish to extend a very special thank you to all the people at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, her oncologist Dr. Thachil and Heart to Heart Hospice for all the care they gave her.

A celebration of life will be announced at a future date.
