He also enjoyed singing (some of his favorites were Elvis Presley, Freddy Fender, and Fats Domino), dancing (he loved to jitterbug, waltz, and swing dance), and bowling. Mark was involved in many charity organizations (his favorite was St. Judes Children's hospital), ministries (he was a reverend and minister to our local church), and community events (especially anything involving Veterans and Disabled Veterans). He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and an E-7 Sergeant First Class in the Military Army Branch.
" The New Testament speaks to forgiveness and the healing 62 times. You must begin to understand that your healing process can not begin until you forgive those who have hurt you and you harbor the bitterness for. It is an 'act of will (man's), not an emotion. YOU MUST FORGIVE IN ORDER TO BE FORGIVEN. Forgiveness is like a full pardon. The slate is clean and you can start fresh, have a new start towards happiness and be completely out of the arms of satan." ~ Mark R. Hagood ~
