Mary (Molly) Butcher Kornahrens passed away peacefully on January 24, 2021 at the age of 90 years old.

Molly is survived by her two sons, David Kent and Keith Henry Kornahrens; granddaughters, Katie Moreno, Kimberly and Emily Kornahrens; and grandson, Travis Mulally. She is predeceased by her husband, Henry (Hank) Kornahrens and daughter Karen Kornahrens.

Born in 1931 in West Lafayette, Indiana, she was the daughter of Owen and Zula Butcher. She attended Butler University and Purdue University and was a member of the Sigma Kappa sorority. It was at Purdue where she met the love of her life, Henry. They were married in 1950, and spent 39 wonderful years together before he passed in 1989.

Molly was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking for her family, needlepoint, gardening, shopping, and spoiling her grandchildren and dachshunds. A faithful member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church, she never missed an opportunity to let people know she cared.

She will always be remembered for her love of family, classy demeanor, impeccable fashion sense and will be greatly missed.
