Mary Jovita (Vita) Napoli

(June 8, 1955 - August 25, 2021)

Mary Jovita (VITA) Napoli, age 66, left her earthly home on Wednesday, August 25, 2021,

She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Eugene Napoli, father and Addie Faye Parker, mother, maternal grandparents Garrett O'Dell and Dorothy Mae Maybin, paternal grandparents Samuel Joseph and Mary Orvilla Napoli, Aunt Elizabeth Irene Waymaster, sisters Marie Yvette Jerkins, Rene Collette Napoli, nephew Christopher Allen Jerkins, niece Zoey Rene Elbelt.

Vita is the stepdaughter to Don Alton Parker, sister of Denise Kinney and Zina Beth Ulicnik (Chris), her cousin(sister) Shirley Toney, and an aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was born in Houston, Texas, and although she resided in Austin, Texas for most of her life, she did move back to the Houston Area to live with her sisters prior to her passing.  She retired as a nurse in September 2020 doing what she loved for 38 years.  She loved her work and cared for those that were not able to help themselves within Special Needs and the Elderly.  She was an avid SPORTS FAN.

If there was a University of Texas (UT) game on, Houston Texans, Rockets, or ASTROS she was there sporting their gear and cheering them to VICTORY!

She will be remembered for her love of her family and friends...

and for always wearing her favorite color BURNT ORANGE.
