Mary Lou Monceaux Pommier, passed away March 16, 2021 at the home of her daughter surrounded by family, at the age of 82.   Mary loved children and spent her life raising and caring for many.

She is survived by her son, Keith Pommier and his wife Gloria from New Iberia, LA and daughter, Donna Spivey and her husband Rickey from Conroe TX.  Mary had four (4) grandchildren Nadine (Ruben) Alvarez Houston, TX; Katie LaPorte Dickinson, TX; Vicki (Roy) Lambert Calhoun, LA and Zoda Bourque, Lafayette, LA.   Mary had seven (7) great grandchildren, Trae, Cody, Madison, Jordyn Raelyn, Colton, and Chole and two (2) great great grandchild Kylah and Noah.

She was proceeded in death by her son Mark Pommier, her parents Joseph and Edith Doucet, adopted parents Remus and Peronail Guidry, brothers Elton, Harry and Melvin Monceaux and sisters Betty Mathews and Dorothy Lebouef.

Services for Mary will be held at Holy Family Cemetery and Mausoleum in New Iberia, LA at a later date.
