Mary Shirley Tadych was born on August 22, 1935 in Dublin Georgia.  She passed away on November 27, 2021, in Houston, Texas at age 86.

After graduation from high school, she moved an hour west to take a job in Civil Service on Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Georgia.  It was here she met her future husband, Anthony.   As a military wife for over 20 years, she raised four children while traveling and living across the country.   The couple finally put down roots in Colorado, where she enjoyed a career at the Accounting and Finance Center on Lowry AFB.

Mary enjoyed several hobbies, including reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, and playing bingo with friends.

Attending church and bible study was also important to her.

She was proud to have eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  Mary is fondly remembered for her uncanny wit and wry sense of humor.

She is survived by her son Glen Tadych and his wife Theresa, her two daughters Nancy and husband Richard Russell, and Wanda and her husband, David Yrastorza.  Mary had an especially close relationship with her granddaughter, Sarah.

Preceding her in death is her beloved husband Anthony Tadych Jr., and her first-born son Wendell B. Tadych.
