Maximiano "Max" Garcia, Jr. passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 64, in Katy, TX. He was born to Maximiano Garcia and Oralia Rodriguez Garcia on June 27, 1957, in Edinburg, TX.

Max is preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Alexis Aaron.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his siblings, Diana G. Munoz (Timoteo) of San Antonio, TX; Gustavo A. Garcia (Mary) of Sugar Land, TX; Dora Estella McKee (Ronald) of Katy, TX; and Ricardo N. Garcia (Elva) of San Antonio, TX.

Nieces: Angie Lopez (Joe) of Richmond TX; Olica Garcia of San Antonio, TX; Michelle Hurtado (Sal) of San Marcos, TX; Vanessa Juarez (Daniel) of Ft. Worth, TX; Erika Konopka (David) of Cedar Park, TX; Jennifer Spiers (Matthew) of Richmond, TX; and Cathy Hanrahan (Jason) of Jarrell, TX.

Nephews: Ricky Garcia and Max Adrian Garcia of San Antonio, TX; and Thomas Garcia (Vivien) of Sugar Land, TX.

Five grand-nephews, six grand-nieces, and a host of relatives and friends.

Max loved his pets, cooking, playing tennis, listening to old-time radio, and reading the newspaper and fiction books. He had an unquestionable love for his nieces and nephews.

Max enjoyed traveling and had been a longtime resident of Edinburg, TX and had resided in Houston, TX, Corpus Christi, TX, and Chicago, IL.
