Melody L (née Meyer) Reese, 72, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on June 21, 2020.   She was surrounded by her family in The Woodlands, TX.

Melody is known for her love of cooking big meals, sense of humor and love of family and friends.  She had a friendly sarcasm that she passed on to her children and grandkids.  She loved game nights and sometimes let her competitive streak show through.  Melody was a lifelong learner and enjoyed teaching across public, private, and church schools, mostly working with students from pre-schoolers through grade school.   She deeply cherished her friendships and was always available to lend an ear or hand.

A private service will be held at a later date.
