Michael "Mike" Charles Adams Sr. passed away after a long illness on August 12, 2022
at the age of 58 in Onalaska, TX. He was born June 2, 1964 in Houston, Texas.
While living with his dad and stepmother he attended Ridgecrest Elementary in
Houston, graduating from Columbus High School after the family moved to Frelsburg.
He was confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church in Frelsburg at an early age. While living in
Brenham Mike worked at Gates, then moved to Houston working at Pinnacle Industries
for several years.
Mike was an outdoorsy, handy guy. He was often found outside piddling and listening to
his favorite football game on the radio. He was a great cook and enjoyed barbequing
while hanging out with the family. During holiday get togethers, he would be one of the
first up to the table to engage in some friendly poker with some of his siblings and
Stepfather. While his father was alive, he thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the
property in Paige. Family gatherings were often large, full of chaos and kiddos, but Mike
enjoyed every minute of it.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Charles Adams Sr., and Wynona Baird
Nesham, Stepfather Mark P. Nesham, and brother Gary McNabb.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Amy Adams; children Michael Charles Adams Jr.,
Clifton Charles Adams, and wife Kayden; grandchildren Thomas, Leona, Deklan, and
Adaline; stepmother Leslie Adams; sisters Pam Evans, Audrea Delarosa and Danielle
Nesham; brothers Wesley Adams, Darryl Adams, Tommy Adams Jr, and Jack Adams;
numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
Mike will be laid to rest at the Adams Family Cemetery in Paige, TX. In lieu of flowers,
please give to your favorite charity or church.
