Michael John Cramer

November 5, 1952 – September 12, 2021

Michael J. Cramer, 68, passed away at home on Sunday Sept 12, 2021.  Mike was born in Rochester NY, the first child of Robert and Rita Cramer.  Mike is preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter Erin Christina.  He leaves behind his brothers Owen (Pauletta), Bernie, and Andy (Mark), sisters Carol (Richard) and Theresa (Jonathan), nieces Katie (Bryce), Sarah (Chris), Carly, Jenna, Madeline, nephews Nick (Diana), Michael, Matt (Amanda), Zach (Ashley), John Henry, and Joseph. Mike was blessed to have great-nieces Layla, Penny, Lorelei, and Penelope, as well as a great nephew Jones.  Mike played a strong role in the lives of his stepchildren Barrett, Lauren (Dave), Leah, and Byron.

Mike's pastimes included spending time with his family, studying and talking about economics, sharing and taking in the quiet beauty of the national parks, hiking, listening to music like Willie, Lyle Lovett and Lucinda Williams, visiting craft breweries and sipping good scotch.

Mike had a great sense of humor even after Alzheimer's affected his ability to communicate. Those who cared for him and loved him during those years appreciated his kindness and caring nature, he always maintained his best manners.  We are thankful for his many friends and caregivers during this time – Mary Beth, David, and Tracy in Colorado, his walking buddy John, Tasheka and Cassandra in Houston.
