Michael Earl Hughes, 67 died on December 3rd, 2021 at 6:12 AM.  He was born on December 7, 1953 in Houma, Louisiana.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday December 16th, 2021 and will begin at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church located at 7801 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, Texas 77379.  A Memorial will be held at a later date to be confirmed.

He is survived by his two children, Natalie Hughes and Taylor Hughes; grandchildren, Walker and Olivia.

Also survived by his sister Betty Ann Weimar and husband Ben; nieces, Rebecca Weimar, Mindy Shortreed and husband Greg and their three children, Myla, Cade, and Daxton; nephew, Craig Hughes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.E. Hughes and Nita Hughes; sister, Wanda Hughes; and brother, Gary Hughes.

Mike was best known for his witty and loving personality, his love for music, doing what he could for everybody so selflessly, and having a good time.  He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and a friend to so many.
