Michael "Mike" Ray Boyd 60, earned his angel wings peacefully on October 26. 2020 surrounded by loved ones. He was born on June 5, 1960 to James and Mary Catherine Boyd in Houston, Texas where he remained a lifelong resident. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and a sister. He leaves behind his loving companion of 20 years Laura and her children Lindsay and Drake who helped him fight the pain he suffered for so long; brother Leonard and his wife Debbie; 5 children, Michael and his wife Amanda, Joshua, Christopher and his wife Sara, Robert "Buck" and Kimberley; 4 grandchildren Ethan, Braydon, Millie and Analeya; and an extended family of nieces, nephews and their children.

Mike loved spending time with his family; his laughter was infectious; he was always smiling, happy, and willing to lend a hand. He enjoyed dancing, fishing, bowling, hot rods, and cook outs with family and friends. Mike was an inspiration to all that knew him.
