Miyoko "Jackie" Young of Tomball, Texas passed away peacefully on April 4th, 2023 at the age of 94. She was a tiny lady with a fierce and loving devotion to her family. You couldn't believe that a heart that big would fit into a 4'7" body!

Jackie married the love of her life, Richard Young Sr., in Iwakuni, Japan in 1981 and moved with back to California then Washington State and finally settled in Great Falls MT. She often spoke of growing up in Japan but she liked "being American" more.

Jackie was proud of her work as head housekeeper for a large hotel chain and retired to spend time doing the things she loved: car traveling, shopping, and making sure that her dearest husband lacked nothing in the way of care. She doted on him until the day he passed away, then lived for only 26 more hours before she sure that her dearest husband lacked nothing in the way of care. Jackie is survived by extended family back in Japan. In America she is survived by three stepchildren: Richard Young Jr. and wife Colleen, Dovie Green and husband Tim, Robin Young, and step grandchildren, as well as a large collection of wooden elephants and owl wind-chimes.
