Norris Wayne Luedke
1949-2021
On March 5, 2021 at the age of 71, Norris passed away peacefully at a care home in Conroe, Texas under Hospice care. Norris was born in September 1949 in Cameron, Texas to Paul and Lois (Bayer) Luedke.
Norris grew up in Cypress Texas where he graduated from Cy-Fair High School in 1967 where he led the marching band and played the trumpet. He was confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Cypress, Texas in 1963. Norris worked in the drywall trade since high school and believed in hard work and dedication. He took great pride in the quality of his craft. Norris served in the Marine Reserves. He was also a licensed auctioneer and worked many benefits and charity events over the years.
Norris was preceded in death by his father Paul Clements Luedke and brother Bruce Luedke. He leaves behind his mother Lois Lopez; sister, Gayle Luedke (Mollberg); two sons, Paul and Christopher; three grandchildren, Dexter, Teagan and Sephora; along with numerous nephews, cousins and longtime friend Andy Leathers.
Norris loved spending time with family and friends. He shared with Andy the love of the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was often teased by his family because he hadn't shot a deer in 25 years but loved sitting in his deer stand just watching them and making sure they had corn to eat.
Due to COVID, family graveside service was held on Friday, March 19, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Tomball, Texas by Pastor Jerome Teichmiller, a friend and brother in Christ.
