Patricia Ann Brandt passed into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She was born to the late Harry C. and Louise J. Fields in Houston, Texas on August 3, 1936.

Patricia grew up in Houston and married the love of her life, Gustave William Brandt on January 22, 1954.  She was a loving wife and mother of three daughters, an extraordinary fashion designer and seamstress, and student of the Bible.  Her husband, Bill's career with Proctor and Gamble led the family from Houston to California, Maryland, Massachusetts, then back to Houston.  As a young widow, she kept a beautiful home, raised her family with strong values, and loved to garden.  She taught dance with Patsy Swayze in Houston, enjoyed dressing up and took pride in helping others to look their best.  Her Bible was her most precious possession and her church friends were also her family.  Patricia's faith in Jesus Christ sustained and emboldened her throughout her life.  She loved God and will be remembered for making His Word her strength, priority and compass. "'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the Lord of hosts."  Zechariah 4:6.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gustave William Brandt, in 1968, and daughter, Christina Shanks of Colorado.  She is survived by her daughter, Janet Anderson and husband Gary of Conroe, and Dara Taggart of Houston, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank all those who provided care and assistance to her, especially her friends at Harvestwood Assisted Living and the saints at Cura at Homebridge Hospice center in Spring.  The family gives Susan, Fatimah, Tara and Cece their greatest gratitude for compassionate and loving care during her illness.
