Patricia “Pat” Phillips passed away on May 3, 2026 in the comfort of her own home in Houston surrounded by family. Born May 23, 1956 in Long Island, New York, Pat’s life was a true testament to unconditional love, endless laughter and dedication to her family.

Pat loved her hockey, cooking and crime shows, puzzles and brain teasers and of course, her cats. She was a friend to anyone she met and those who were lucky enough to be a part of her life knew just how special she was. She took care of anyone who came into her home and made sure everyone was well fed and happy and never without a snack.

She majored in mathematics at Boston College and moved to Texas after graduation where she started her family and lived the rest of her life. No one really knew what she did at work other than “computers” but everyone knew how smart and dedicated she was and her kids may have told people she was an astronaut when she worked for NASA.

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Allen “Keith” Phillips, 5 children Justin, Ray, Mickey, Kelly and Abby, her daughter in law Carla, son in law Wayne and will deeply be missed by her 2 grandchildren Luca and Alma. She was brought home before meeting her 3rd grandson Weston. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Madelon and William McCarthy, and her brother Teague McCarthy. She is also survived by her big brother Bill and sisters, Kate, Marianne, Dolly and their families.

Pat’s memory will live on through her family and all those whose lives were enriched by her unwavering love and support.

An informal service to celebrate the life of Pat will be held on Saturday, May 16th at Pappasito's Willowbrook from 12PM-3PM.
