Obituary

Phillip Taylor Williams, Sr peacefully passed away at home with family, Friday, 21 st of March 2025 at the
age of 85.

He was born December 9, 1939 in Los Angeles, California to the Reverends Emzy Phillip and Elizabeth
Marie Williams. Phillip was preceded in death by his wife Karron Beadle Williams, his parents, daughter
Lisa Suzanne Williams and sister Beth Gibson.

He is survived by his children, Steven William Dorman (Wife-Karen) of Brownsville, TX, Phillip Taylor
Williams, Jr (Wife-Brenda) of La Belle, TX, and daughter DiAnna "Sissy" Williams Hudson of Spring, TX.
He blessed with loving blended family - children, daughter Misty Dawn Castro (husband Joe), Cumby "Cee"
Freeman (Wife-Kristi), and Dynette Dennise Thorp (Husband- Art) of Owendale, Mi.
He has numerous grandchildren, great grand children, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Phillip began his college studies at Southern Bible College. He received his certificate of Nursing Home
Administration at San Jacinto College and had other alternative studies at The University of TX. Phillip was
one of the first groups to receive their license in the state of Texas for Nursing Home Administration. He
owned and operated Williams Nursing Home. He served on Houston's Mayor Committee on Aging and
served on the State Board as Convention Chairman.

Among Phillips other achievements:
He was a Volunteer for Houston, Harris County as a Deputy Sheriff.
He had a pilot's license for small air craft and loved the Cessna plane.
He obtained one of the highest commercial HVAC (A/C) license, owned and operated an A/C business in the
Spring area. He would often leave Bibles and tracks which lead to ministering to clients. In his final years
God spoke to him to go into full time ministry where he became an ordained minister. He worked with Mike
Barber's Prison ministries and was on the ministry staff and counselor at a local church. With Karron by his
side he would do guest speaking, counseling and ride with the CMA. He is known to many as Pastor Phillip.
This past year he had the honor to participate in the re-publishing of his mother's book on Daniel and
Revelation.

His childhood was marked with numerous moves due to his parents being Gospel Evangelist. He moved
from LA to Dallas and eventually made Houston their home. Phillip's parents were co-founders of Southern
Bible College.

Phillip had a gregarious personality; he lived a full life of adventures. He always had something planned for
the family. Which could be boating, motorcycle rides, hunting, camping, snow skiing or flying his favorite
Cessna. He loved his motor home and traveled with his family along the Eastern United states and visited his
children wherever they may be living.

His children and grandchildren will always remember that big hug, his playful, ornery ways, his Huge Smile
and that twinkle in his blue eyes.

Phillip always wanted to be used by God. His words were be still, listen, and live fearless in faith and know
that God has you! Hebrews 10:35-36 Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great
reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what
is promised.
