Phyllis "Patty" Palumbo
passed away at home in Texas on November 11, 2020. Her dedicated and loving son Frank and daughter Tamela were at her side. Patty was preceded in death by her husband Frank and son Timothy and her sister Dalita. She was also preceded by her parents Renee and Joseph Schoepf, whom she lovingly cared for at home during their last years.
Patty was born in Cleveland, OH in 1927, where she met and fell in love with our Dad, a sailor on leave from the USS Saratoga, who was headed for war. She was a gentle woman, who lived her life for her family. She was an artist, wrote poetry and loved her pets. Patty was very proud of a portrait she did of the 1st Lady, Barbara Bush.
Patty was a private lady, who kept a beautiful home for her family. She dressed elegantly everyday for her husband. She may have been a quiet person, however, our Dad, Frank, was known to say that she would fight a buzz saw for her family. Patty was generous to anyone she met that needed help. She raised her children to have her values.
Patty and her husband Frank were forever madly in love with each other, as you can see. Now they are together again in God's home.
Please do not send flowers. Our Mom, Patty would ask you to adopt a dog or cat or give to your local animal shelter.
In honor of our Mother, Patty, with tears and infinite sadness in our hearts. "We love and miss you so much".
