Randall Allen Zakavec, 71, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2020, in Katy, Texas. He was born on May 21, 1949, in Chicago, IL to the late William and Lillian Zakavec, nee Vana. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Pickett and Crystal Snyder. He leaves behind: three brothers - William Zakavec (wife Patricia), Glen Zakavec (wife Karen), and Robert Zakavec; Aunt Shirley Dolezal (husband James), and Aunt Lorraine Safranek; nieces and nephews Christina Z. Hovance, Catherine Z. Davidson, Jill Aldrich, David Zakavec, Brian Zakavec, and Jacob Zakavec and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Randall was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed camping, was an avid hometown sports fanatic, and sunning himself to get the perfect tan. He lived in Stickney, IL, Eldora and Loveland CO, Bothell WA, Sugar Creek PA, and Katy TX. He enjoyed working as a bartender, working in retail, working on cars and handyman projects. He loved going to baseball games and lunch with his great-nephews Trevor and Kevin. His favorite meal was a catfish dinner.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
