Rebecca was a Gentle, Kind, Loving Soul with a "Heart of Gold"
Spending 52 years in Albuquerque, New Mexico she loved the beautiful mountain views, spectacular sunsets, the balloon fiesta, along with horse races at the state fair. Rebecca enjoyed spending Christmas mornings with her brother Mark and family, playing double solitaire with sister Tracy, and long car rides across the countryside. She was so full of life, singing and dancing when opportunity struck with her sister Jenny. Being blessed to have had such great cooking skills, rather it be cooking Hatch Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas or Thanksgiving dinners, baking pumpkin pies to making cookies with her grandchildren. Rebecca had such a giving heart; she would donate her famous banana bread to neighbors and friends in times of need. She loved her gardening along with watering her plants and flowers. Most of all, she loved her children, Rochelle, and Ryan. One of her best attributes was how she molded her children to be strong survivors. During her last moments here on earth she wanted EVERYONE to know that she "LOVED us ALL." Now the time has come for us all to let her know that she is now free to soar the heavenly blue skies. She will always be missed and forever our "Songbird."
The family asks that in lieu of flowers you make donations in Rebecca's name to

"In Our Hearts"
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we'll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.
