It is with great sadness and profound grief that we announce the passing of Rick Peter Titus at the young age of 59.  Rick passed away peacefully, with his loving wife by his side, on July 31, 2020 in Houston, Texas from liver failure.  He leaves to mourn his adoring wife of 21 years, Mary Jane Titus, his children, Kevin Titus and Kayla Brouwer (Jordan), and step-children JR Mccombs (Sarah) and Jacob Mccombs (Tammy). He had one grandson, Conner Titus, and 12 step-grandchildren, who all meant the world to him. Rick is also survived by his father, Peter Titus, sister Sheila Bergsma (Frank), and brothers Wayne Allen (Marcy) and Brent Allen.  As well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends both in Houston and in Leduc. Rick is predeceased by his step-son Dirke Mccombs, sister Shirley Allen, brother Phil Allen, mother-in-law Shirley Livingston, and mother Cecilia Titus.

Rick truly was the life of the party and a constant jokester. A lego fanatic and a true sports fan, specifically cheering for the Oilers, Eskimos, & Texans. Rick always embodied "never grow up" by taking any chance to be like a kid, especially on the rollercoasters of Disney World. He worked in the Oil Industry for 24 years in both Canada and in Texas, and being a salesman was his passion. Rick will be missed for his love of life, vivacious laugh, and fierce love for his family.  You are with us forever.  A memorial service will be held in Edmonton on Friday, August 21, 2020, as well as in Houston, TX at a later date.
