Mr. Ricky Maynard, 70, entered into his heavenly home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 13, 2024. He was born to Jackson and Mary Maynard in Williamson, West Virginia on October 24, 1953. Ricky was a devout Christian with a great love for his Lord, being a member of Copperfield Bible Church. Ricky was blessed with a large and loving family. He enjoyed reading his Bible while sipping hot coffee, spending time with his family, being outdoors, hiking, fishing, hunting, and working on cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers Charles Eugene  (Pete), Riley Jackson (Jackie), George William (Bill), and a sister, Eleanor Ruth Bowen.

Ricky is survived by his loving wife Betty, his children Rick (& Tammy) Maynard, Tonya (& Nick) Blanton, Enrique (& Andrea) Santos, and Sara Gonzalez;  grandchildren Adam (& Jamie), Danielle, and Caitlin Maynard;  Tiffany (& CT) Smith, Sarah Blanton, Remi, and Mateo Santos;  great- grandchildren Tatum Smith and Da'Marion Maynard; his brothers, Earl Lee and Marion Maynard; his sisters; Grace Elizabeth Zornes, Geneva Vanessa Hackney, Katie Davis, Diana Woodard, and Cheryl Ann Howard, as well as a host of loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 30th, at 10:30 am at Copperfield Bible Church, 15216 FM 529, Houston, TX 77095, with a reception to follow at the same place. Pastor Dan Phillips will officiate the service, which will also be transmitted online. The celebration of Ricky's life in Kentucky will be held in June 2024.
