IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Lee
Gholston
December 24, 1941 – November 5, 2020
"Robert Lee "Grampy" Gholston, 78, of Houston, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 5, 2020 at Three Oaks Hospice after a lengthy battle with cancer. Robert was born in Wardell, Missouri on December 24, 1941 to Willie and Gynola Gholston.
A former pastor, Robert loved the Lord and was well-versed in The Word. He also dutifully served his country as a sharpshooter in the United States Army from 1964 to 1970 until he was honorably discharged. Robert was a skilled draftsmen by profession and artist by passion. He loved to spend his time drawing. He was generous, helpful and friendly among many other honorable characteristics. He never met a stranger.
He is lovingly remembered by his two daughters, Kristin Sudds and Yvonne Gholston; his grandson Michael Gholston; sisters Gloria Jean Taylor, Carthell Taylor and Mildred Banks; close cousins Elizabeth (Lizzieann) Evans and Robert Banks; and a host of dearly loved family members who have been touched by Robert's life and will miss him greatly.
Rest in Heaven Dad, till we see you again."
