Robert Wayne McMahan, age 72, of Richmond, TX, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026.  He was born on December 4, 1953, in Houston, TX, to Emmett and Gladys McMahan. He was a devoted husband to Karon for 32 years and a proud father to Christel, Carissa, Jack and Amber.

Robert was a graphic designer for over 30 years.  He was known for his deep love of the Lord, an avid traveler to scenic parts of America and a talented photographer of all the places he visited, and his legacy of great respect and love for others.  He will forever be cherished.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Gladys McMahan, and his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Tommy Williams. He was survived by his wife, Karon, his children Christel (Samuel), Carissa, Jack (Kaylee) and Amber, his grandchildren Mina (Eric), Drusilla, Thomas, Liliana, Sebastian and April, and great-grandchild Aiden, and many nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service will take place on January, 10, 2026, 11AM, at Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1353 S. Mason Rd, Katy, TX 77450. Reception will follow immediately.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Katy Christian Ministry.
