Robert Rex Spraggins Sr.
Born April 19, 1950, passed away June 26, 2022. He retired from the Houston Fire Department after 28 years of service.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandpa. He is survived by his wife Debra, his children Rebecca & Ashley, Leslie & Jonathan, and Robert " Rex" Jr. & Heidi.
His grandchildren Sotero, Wyatt, Avery, and Berklee "Bibi". He is preceded in death by his parents Lauton & Audrey Spraggins. He is also preceded by his brothers William, Jim, and Richard ;also his sister Sue.
He loved being outdoors , grilling at home or as he called it "God's country" with a cold beer in hand. Always had a smile on his face waving at all the neighbors.
He enjoyed watching sports games on TV while hanging out in his garage. He also loved good country music and liked to play it very loud . His wife said it would rattle the pictures on the wall. He was a collector of sorts. He was famous for his one-liners, one of them being "It's another day". We will have a celebration of life memorial in October.
