Obituary

Dr. Robert Clark Warmington, 91, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, at Houston Methodist Hospital after a long and courageous battle with chronic heart failure.

Robert was born on June 13, 1934, in Toledo, Ohio to Carroll Henry and Esther Fredericka Warmington. He lived a remarkable life defined by service, intellect, entrepreneurship, adventure, and deep love for his family.

On October 30, 2008, he married the love of his life, Maria Divina Domingo, in Houston, Texas. Prior to meeting Maria, Dr. Warmington resided in the ultra-exclusive Kukio private equity club located along the Kona-Kohala Coast on Hawaii’s Big Island. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Phuket, where they lived for nearly two years before returning to Texas. They later settled in The Woodlands before making their home in Spring. With their marriage of almost 18 years, they were blessed with twins, Alexis Raine and Oliver Kyle, who brought immense joy and purpose to his later years.

Dr. Warmington entered military service on July 3, 1959, and served honorably in the Unites States Army during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on October 30, 1967, with the rank of Major (O-4). His service to his country remained a source of great pride throughout his life.

Professionally, Dr. Warmington was an accomplished oral surgeon who practiced in Laguna Beach, California before expanding his interests into film production, real estate ventures, financial investments, and health product innovation. Throughout his career, he was associated with several business ventures, including New Vision Entertainment Inc.; Kua Bay Investments Co., LLC; NKD II, LLC; Prime Account Management, Inc.; Maniniowali Equity Company, LLC; and Scientific Hygiene, Inc.

Robert embraced life with passion and enthusiasm. He was an avid golfer and, during his prime, maintained a remarkable 4-handicap. He proudly achieved two hole-in-ones during his lifetime. He also loved boating and owned two yachts while living in Florida. Together with Maria, he traveled around the world twice aboard the ultra-luxurious, all-inclusive Regent Seven Seas Cruises, creating treasured memories through their shared love of travel. Family cruises with their twins became some of his most cherished experiences.

He also enjoyed playing poker with close friends at casinos, following current events, and spending hours in his office monitoring the stock market—one of his favorite pastimes.

Robert was blessed with six children – Sherryl Ann; Elaine Kay; Kim; Robert, Jr; Alexis Raine; and Oliver Kyle.

Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Jean Ruttan, and his daughters, Elaine Kay Warmington and Kim Warmington.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Maria Divina Warmington; his beloved twins, Alexis Raine and Oliver Kyle; extended family members; and many dear friends whose lives were touched by his generosity, intelligence, humor, and adventurous spirit.
