Obituary
Roy Douglas Leslie, 76, passed away at his home in Magnolia, Texas on October 19, 2022 after a 5-year battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife Lou, two sons, Mark and Robby, three grandchildren, Brooklyn, Christian, and Sydney, and three great-grandchildren, Cami, KJ, and Rayni. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Rob and Elsa (Mund) Leslie, his sister Lynda and brother Ted.
Roy retired from Benchmark Engineers after 30 years of employment. His hobby, passion and calling was driving his John Deere. He jokingly called it his "therapy". He loved nature and all things science from space to archeology. Roy could repair anything and often did. He has helped build a church, reshingled countless roofs and painted many others' homes. He was always willing to help others and did.
Roy found favor with God.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 11:00am at Brookside Memorial Park, 13401 Eastex Fwy, Houston, Texas 77039.
