Royce Lynn Stripling passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. Royce was born on January 19, 1933, in Bullard, Texas, moved to Houston and graduated from Reagan High School in 1950. He was a proud Army veteran. Royce retired from Red Arrow Freight Lines after 32 years. In 1952, he met a young girl who became his wife of 70 years. They were together for almost 74 years. To know him was to love him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marla Stripling, his sons, Darrell and Mark (Sharon), two granddaughters, Marsha (Joel) and Lori (Zac), four great grandsons, Paxton, Hudson, Harvey, and Royce, as well as in-laws, niece and nephews, cousins, and long-time neighbors.

Per his request, there will be no memorial service.
