Obituary

Sallie Mae Buvinghausen
April 6,1927 - October 16,2023

Death is not the end of life; it is only the gateway to eternity.

Sallie went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 96. She was a faithful Christian throughout her life. She was a very loving, caring, and giving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother and friend to many thru the years. Everyone would always say that Sallie was their favorite. Sallie was born in Sutherland Springs Texas in a small farmhouse with no electricity or running water. She was a resident of LaVernia, Houston and Spring Texas during her life. She retired from American Can Company with 33 years of service. In her early years as a child she helped her parents pick cotton and peanuts and care for the animals on the farm. Sallie enjoyed going to church and after retiring volunteered for the Lutheran Thrift Shop in Tomball for years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends cooking, baking, gardening, crochet, embroidery, quilting as a hobby. She will be so very truly missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to extend a deep heartfelt thank you to Candy Brigance for opening the doors of your home to our "Granny B". To Keri Cullens and the entire staff of Blissful Living and to Devotion Hospice for your loving care. You all are truly angels here on earth.
