Sharon Lynn Cronin, 81, of Spring, Texas, formerly of Peoria, IL.,
passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
Sharon was born in Peoria, IL on August 29. 1943. She was the
daughter of Arthur C. Semelroth, Jr and Mary (Maronese)
Semelroth. Sharon first married Ronald Entrican. He preceded her
in death in 1965. She then married Lawrence Cronin on February
18. 1967. Larry survives and they enjoyed over 57 years of marriage
together.
Sharon is also survived by two sons, Ronald Cronin and Robert (Sami) Cronin, three
grandchildren, Kayla, Elijah and Adam, two brothers, Arthur C. Semelroth, III, Kent (Tammy)
Semelroth and one sister, Julie (Jim) Darnell, several nieces and nephews, as well as great
nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by both parents and her stepmother, Jo Ann Semelroth.
Sharon was of the Catholic faith and attended Christ The Good Shepherd Catholic
Church. She enjoyed playing the piano as a hobby and handbells in the church handbell
choir. Sharon was a talented seamstress, painter, quilter and artist. She always had some
kind of creative project in the works. Sharon always loved a good joke and had an infectious
laugh. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. She will be greatly
missed by all those whose lives she touched.
There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded.
