Sharon "Sherry" Sue Muncy Flood, 62, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025. Born on January 18, 1962, in Bloomington, Indiana, Sherry was the beloved daughter of the late Jean Hetherington Muncy and Carl Richard Muncy. She grew up in Bloomington, attending Bloomington High School, where she was a proud member of the drill team all four years, serving also as captain and choreographer. At age 20, Sherry moved to Houston, Texas, where she built a beautiful life. She married Glenn Robert Flood on March 26, 1994, and together they raised two daughters, Haley Michelle Arndt (Garrett) and Danielle Jeanette Hargrove (Donald). She found immense joy in being "Grammy" and "Grumpy" to her grandsons, Cole Arndt and Kaiden Hargrove. Sherry had a lifelong career in IT, working with companies like Compaq, Hewlett Packard, and Apple. She also loved supporting her daughters in their activities, playing golf or board games with family, watching good movies, and staying connected with her high school reunion group. Sherry is survived by her husband, Glenn Flood; her daughters, Haley Arndt and Danielle Hargrove; their spouses, Garrett Arndt and Donald Hargrove; her grandsons, Cole Arndt and Kaiden Hargrove; her sisters Dolores Kutch (Paul) and Mary Beth Muncy; and her nephews Paul and Ian Kutch. She was preceded in death by her loving parents and her brother, Carl Richard Muncy Jr. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., followed by a service at 2:00 p.m., at Claire Brothers Funeral Home, 7901 Hillcroft St Houston Tx  77081.
