IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sheela Angele
Pousson
May 8, 1987 – August 5, 2020
A magical star, Sheela Angele Pousson, 33, left suddenly for the heavens on August 5, 2020. Sheela was born to Nancy & Michael Pousson, May 8, 1987 in Houston, Texas on a sunny afternoon. Sheela grew as a gentle soul that bloomed in creativity. Sheela developed grace overtime, as does a pearl in its oyster, while continually amassing a library of knowledge and a heart so warm as to provide a home for others.
Sheela kept to herself most of her childhood, taking companionship with her furry love Kelly Snowstorm MacDougal, a west highland white terrier she rescued from a puppy mill. It was in 2013, that a small black cat (affectionately called Nicodemus the brat prince) adopted Sheela, who she loved dearly as her fur baby and embraced the title "Crazy Cat Lady"
Sheela's petals unfurled during her years at Clear Brook High School as her skills in art awarded her very own letter jacket. Sheela won numerous awards from the Visual Arts Scholastic Event (V.A.S.E.) competitions and even designed her own prom dress. Sheela took root in these accomplishments to grow in San Jacinto South College, where she received honors as a published author on her article "The Quarter Horses of King Ranch" with her associates in arts degree. Sheela's true flourish seeded at Stephen F Austin State University, through developing her unique talent in metalsmithing. It was there, among like minded artists, that she met her bestie and soul sister Allison Pylant. Sheela graduated with a bachelor's in art education, a minor in metalsmithing, Magnum Cum Laude.
To really grasp the wonder of Sheela, one would need to see the many aesthetics and passions she enjoyed over the course of her life. These include, but not limited to: her romance in all things medival; her reverence in the great traditions of the Asian cultures; her lineage in the highland hills of the celtic clan Brawley; her enthusiastic delight in the gaming/nostalgic fandoms of her time, such as Assassin's Creed video games, Marvel comic character Loki, and many studio Ghibli animations; her multi-faceted brilliance of spirituality; and her fierce love for her family.
Sheela's spirit is greatly missed. Her celestial energy, now rejoined with her creator, is deeply loved by all who had the honor to know her. A celebration of her life, followed by lantern release, will take place at her home after cremation is complete.
In lieu of flowers the Pousson family request donations be made to the Houston ASPCA and BARC organizations, for her greatest humanitarian efforts were the critters she cherished.
