Sidney Samuel Hollis Jr. (Sammy) was born on August 27, 1962, in Pasadena,
Texas, to Sidney Hollis Sr. (Sam) and Janet Erickson. On July 4, 2024, at the age
of 61, Sammy peacefully passed away in the comfort of his home, surrounded by
his loved ones.

Sammy graduated from New Caney High School in 1981 and dedicated 30 years
of his career to Montgomery County Precinct 4. He was a devoted husband,
father, papa, and friend, known for his kindness and loving heart.

On September 7, 1984, Sammy married the love of his life, Angela Hollis.
Together, they built a beautiful life and celebrated 40 years of marriage.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Hollis, and his children: Matt and
Amanda Gray, Sydney and Darrell Svoboda, and Kathryn Hollis. He was a proud
papa to his six grandchildren: Kenadee, Bowen, Harper, Case, Baylor, and
Briggs. Sammy was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Sammy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love,
dedication, and faith will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on August 2, 2024, at 2 p.m. at our family church,
The Family Worship Center, 23214 FM-1485, New Caney, TX 77357.
