Sonia Marie (Soto) Luera of Katy, Texas passed away on June 25, 2022 at the age of 57. Born in New
Orleans, Louisiana on November 17, 1964. She was a resident of Laredo Texas, before settling in the
Houston area.
Sonia was a long-time employee of Igloo. She enjoyed family get togethers, cooking, movies, shopping
and music.
Survived by her brothers Alfred Villarreal (Denise) of San Antonio, Marc Soto (Kimberly) of Houston, ,
Luis Soto of Houston, and Neilson Soto of Houston. Sister: Elena Jasso of Houston Also lots of nieces and
nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Marcos Soto and Caroline Venegas and husbands Alberto
Gomez and Joseph Luera.
