S tanley (Stan) Ramey Terry Sr. was born on May 16, 1938 in Houston, Texas to Robert L. Terry and Jesse Ramey. Stan departed this world and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 20, 2020. He died peacefully at his home in Katy, Texas after battling cancer.

Stan was born in Houston, Texas and graduated from Lamar High School. He went on to run many successful businesses that included dry cleaners, restaurants, and the infamous Sam's Place.

Stan married Mary Jane Terry on December 4, 1980. He is survived by Mary Jane.  Loving father of Barbara Parker Culpepper, Stanley Ramey Terry Jr., Matthew Terry, Melissa Dixon, and Danny Terry. Proudest grandfather of Michaela Enlow, Kylie Terry, Carris Terry, Christopher Jackson, Brayden Dixon and one great grandchild, Gavin Enlow. Brother of Robert Terry, Dottie Rucker, Susan Craft and Kit Cassidy.

Stan was a member of Second Baptist Church for over 30 years. He enjoyed being in the country and spending time with his family at any chance. Stan was bigger than life and would command any room that he entered. Although he lived to 82 years, it was too short. He was so excited to see how each of his children and grandchildren would move the world and make him even prouder than he already was.
