Jean Gossett, age 82, of Katy, TX, passed away on April 7, 2024, in Houston, TX. Jean was born on January 30, 1942, in Dallas, TX. She was known for being a creative, friendly, independent, outgoing, and loyal person by all. She had a strong influence as the matriarch of her family. Known best later in life as "Grandma Jean" her nurturing went beyond her nine grandchildren.

Jean was an entrepreneur of bookstores, a ceramics studio, and an artist. Her love for reading, painting, and crafting was evident in her pursuits outside of work, and extended to her relationships with all that knew her.

She is survived by her grandson, Jonathon Isola and his wife Diane, granddaughter Julie Isola Eldridge and her husband Shawn, sister Debra Wade, great-granddaughter Kourtney Horn, great-grandson Brendon Horn, and great-grandson Deacon Eldridge. Jean was preceded in death by her daughter Treasa Isola and husband Glen Gossett.

A ceremony to honor and remember Jean will be held at Salem Lutheran Cemetery on May 10th, 2024 at 1pm.
