Stephen Delos Stinson, 71, of Humble, earned his Angel Wings on January 23, 2020.
Steve was born on February 22, 1948, in Elkhart, Indiana. He was preceded in death, by his father, Dempsey L. Stinson and by his mother, Peggy J. Stinson.
Steve, a Vietnam Veteran, served in the U.S. Army from 1968 through 1970, with a one-year tour of duty from July 1968 through July 1969 in Cu Chi, Vietnam, with the 25th Infantry, Supply and Transport Division.
Steve is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sandra and her daughter, Cindy, and Cindy's daughter, Haley.
He is also survived by his sons, Charles and Justin, his granddaughter, J.J. Stinson, his sisters, Margaret D. Stinson, Deborah Stinson Kennamore and her husband, Pete, Kathleen Stinson Norris and her husband, Dave, and his brother, Daniel J. Stinson and his wife, Wendee, his nieces, Hayley, Kelley, Lindsey, Whitney, and Amy, and his nephews, Matthew, Daniel, Shane, and Micah.
It is the family's wishes that any donations in Steve's memory should be made to the Gary Sinise Foundation or to the Vietnam Veteran's Foundation.
