Steven Wreede 62 passed away peacefully, Wednesday November 27, 2024 surrounded by love, and family, at his home in Copperfield- Houston Texas due to lung cancer.

Steve was born to the late Marilyn Hall and Larry Montonen, (who passed away when Steven was a small child), in Lima, Ohio on January 22, 1962. The first of three children. And proceeded in death by his late wife Sherry Wreede, sister Carla Wreede, and Aunt Carolyn Hall.
He moved to Houston Texas shortly after graduation 1980 with his late wife Sherry. Where he started his career in the manufacturing field. They welcomed they're only child Darin in1981. Steve only had three jobs in his career. With his last one, with a company only few people get the luxury of. His extended family at R&N Manufacturing, in their engineering department.
When he wasn't at work he enjoyed riding his Harley with Friends, where he was affectionately known as "Shadow". With good reason. He was a quiet man and a very good man. A man's, man. He also enjoyed deer hunting and playing pool at his home. Most of all rough housing and raising Jacob Tyler. His loving grandson. And along with his son Darin, who was there every minute for his dad.
Steve requested to be cremated.

He is survived by his only son, Darin Wreede (Ashley), stepdaughter Leslie Peck, grandson Jacob Tyler, former wife Beverly Wreede.
Sister, Cindy Wreede and nephew Stevie Wreede.
Cousins, Darin Moser and Tammy Moser. Niece, Amber Payne.

A memorial service to celebrate Steve's life, will be announced at a later date.
